Adapted from Stephen King’s terrifying book of the same name, Pet Sematary chilled moviegoers in 1989 thanks in part to a driving Ramones title track. Though that song became one of the Queens quartet’s biggest radio hits, it’s not the only highlight of BRAIN DRAIN, the band’s final album for longtime label Sire. The collection also includes another holiday favorite, “Merry Christmas (I Don't Want to Fight Tonight)” and such fine Dee Dee originals as opener “I Believe in Miracles”; this would be the final set to feature the founding bassist. As you definitely don’t want to be buried in a pet cemetery, BRAIN DRAIN is just the ticket to get you in the mood for Halloween.
