Many regard this as the masterpiece of the era. In their quest for a suitable symbol to represent the Grateful Dead, Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley found the soon-to-be iconic skeleton, illustrated by Edmund J. Sullivan, inside the 26th (ironically) quatrain of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam. This print is also notable for the amazing detail that Mouse put into the border motif and how it integrates seamlessly with Kelley's inspired typography.
