This Weekend: Young the Giant Livestream – 10th Anniversary
Has it really been 10 years since Young the Giant released their self-titled debut album? My, my, how time flies, particularly when you’ve spent the last several months in a pandemic... And yet it’s true: YOUNG THE GIANT is 10 years old, and to commemorate the occasion, fans can enjoy a new 10th anniversary edition of the album, with a limited edition double-vinyl version of the LP hitting stores tomorrow, followed by a special 10-year anniversary virtual concert experience on Saturday, November 21.
First, let’s talk about the 10th Anniversary Edition: it features four bonus tracks, including a new re-recorded version of “Take Me Home,” originally recorded by the pre-YTG band The Jakes. The 2-LP version also contains a 20-page booklet and poster, and if you’re interested in this version, then all you have to do to order a copy is click here.
Now about that concert...
This special event will be taking place at Sunset Sound Studios, where they recorded the album, and they’ll be performing the album in its entirety. It’ll be the last Young the Giant performance of the year, and it’s literally the only time they’ve ever played the album in its entirety.
