Skid Row’s S/T Album Scores an Expanded Digital Release for its 30th Anniversary
30 years ago today, the heavy metal band known as Skid Row released their self-titled album, kicking off a major-label career that would take them twice into the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and to the very top of the Billboard 200. In celebration of this anniversary, Rhino has offered up a digital release of SKID ROW in expanded form.
In addition to such hit singles as “18 and Life,” “I Remember You,” and “Youth Gone Wild,” the expanded version also includes a previously-unreleased live performance from 1989.

If you’ve ever been a Skid Row fan, then you’re gonna want to check out the live show, as there’s never been a full concert officially released by the band. But you should go ahead and revisit the whole album from start to finish. It’s a late ‘80s heavy metal classic, and it still holds up.
