Out Now: The Notorious B.I.G., LIFE AFTER DEATH

On May 19, Faith Evans will be releasing THE KING & I, her duets album with The Notorious B.I.G., but to keep you in a Biggie state of mind ‘til then, you might consider picking up our reissue of his sophomore album, LIFE AFTER DEATH.

At the time of its release, LIFE AFTER DEATH – a sequel to Biggie’s first album, READY TO DIE – was named one of the best albums of 1997, earning Grammy Nominations for Best Rap Album, Best Rap Solo Performance for “Hypnotize,” and Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for “Mo Money Mo Problems,” but it’s since been listed as one of Blender’s 100 Greatest American Albums of All Time as well as one of Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of LIFE AFTER DEATH, but it doesn’t sound 20 years old, as you’ll be able to tell when you give this reissue a spin.
