Out Now: The Grateful Dead, AOXOMOXOA
Hey, have you heard that Rhino is helping the Grateful Dead celebrate their 50-year anniversary? If you haven’t, then we’re just going to presume that this is your first time on the site, because it’s not like we don’t say something about it all the time. But, hey, maybe this actually is your first time joining us here, and if that’s the case, then welcome!
Oh, and by the way, have you heard that the 50th anniversary deluxe edition of AOXOMOXOA is in stores as of today? Because it is.
AOXOMOXOA: 50TH ANNIVERSARY DELUXE EDITION features two versions of the classic album – one fully remastered from the original ’69 recording, the other remastered from the definitive ’71 band-produced mix – and if you can believe it, this is the first time both versions have ever been released in the same package. In addition, there’s a bonus disc that includes previously-unreleased live music from the band’s January 24-26 shows at San Francisco’s Avalon Ballroom.
Even better, there’s a 50th ANNIVERSARY VINYL PICTURE DISC that’s out today, too, so here’s hoping all you vinyl-loving Dead Heads have been counting your pennies!
Okay, now we know you want to know the full track listing of this thing, and we can provide that for you. In fact, what do you say we do it right now?
Roll it!
