It was early 2005 when R&B star Brandy released her final album with the Atlantic Records: the singer's first greatest hits compilation, The Best of Brandy. Originally released on CD, the collection brought together a slew of Brandy singles from her first four studio albums, as well as her contributions to soundtracks Set it Off and Waiting to Exhale. Spicing things up was the inclusion of rare recordings including a 1995 cover of Michael Jackson's "Rock with You," and her take on Phil Collins' "Another Day in Paradise."

The Best of Brandy debuted strong, landing at #27 on the Billboard 200 for the week of April 23, 2005. Over on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, the CD peaked at #11 during the same week.

As part of Rhino's Black History Month 2022 celebration, The Best of Brandy is being pressed on fruit punch colored vinyl for an exclusive 2LP release. This is the first time the compilation has ever been put to vinyl, and copies are sure to go fast. Secure your copy here.
