Out Now: Black Sabbath, PARANOID: SUPER DELUXE EDITION

On September 18, Black Sabbath celebrated the 50^th anniversary of the release of their PARANOID album. Today, Rhino is continuing the celebration with the release of a 5-LP Super Deluxe Edition of the heavy metal classic.

This new set offers the original album, of course, but it also includes a rare 1975 Quad Mix of the album that’s been folded down to stereo, along with two concerts from the same era, one from Brussels and one from Montreux, both of which are being pressed on vinyl for the first time.

Ah, but that’s not all! The set comes with a hardbound book that includes a ton of liner notes as well as interviews with all four members of the band, rare photos, a poster, and even a replica of the Paranoid tour book. Pretty nifty, eh?
