Now Available: Linda Ronstadt, Just One Look: The Very Best of Linda Ronstadt
It seems like only yesterday we were celebrating Linda Ronstadt's birthday with a playlist spotlighting some of her most memorable moments on other people's songs, but it was actually last month. By happy coincidence, this month brings the release of a new collection featuring some of Ms. Ronstadt's most memorable moments on her own songs...or, you know, if you want to be a little less flowery, you could just say that we're releasing a new Linda Ronstadt best-of collection.
Just One Look: The Very Best of Linda Ronstadt is a two-disc set that features material culled from her first big commercial breakthrough - her cover of Michael Nesmith's “Different Drum” - all the way through to her 1993 album
Hopefully you'll be able to take some comfort in the knowledge that the tracks that are included - which you can find listed below - are 2015 remasters, so they'll sound better than ever. Oh, and let's also remember that, believe it or not, there are some people out there who don't own anything by Linda Ronstadt but have been looking for a nice entry point into her career, and we like to think that this will provide them with one.
Just One Look may not be all things to all Ronstadt fans, but as a first step into Linda's lengthy career, you have to admit that it gives you 30 really good reasons to dig deeper.
