It’s True: It Really Is Gary Kemp’s Birthday
Today we celebrate the birthday of a man who can claim not only to be a founding member of Spandau Ballet but, indeed, the one who wrote most of the band’s songs.
Yes, that’s right, the birthday boy in question is none other than Gary James Kemp, and to celebrate the occasion of the day he was born, we’ve pulled together a six-pack of versions of Spandau Ballet’s most enduring hit single: “True.” Some of these may have caught your attention over the years, but it’s just as likely that some of them have gone completely under your radar.
