Deep Dive: David Sanborn

Today we celebrate the birthday of noted sax man David Sanborn, whose back catalog as a solo artist stretches all the way back to the ‘70s, but to celebrate his birthday, we thought we’d take a deep dive into the catalogs of some other artists. To be specific, we thought we’d honor him by putting together a compilation of songs on which Sanborn can be heard as a musical contributor, and since he was born in ’45, we thought it was only appropriate to include 45 songs. All of them are part of the Rhino catalog, and we could’ve easily done more than that, but we wanted to limit it to one song per artist.
