COMING SOON: Miles Davis, MERCI MILES! LIVE AT VIENNE

In July 1991, the country of France honored jazz legend Miles Davis by making him a Knight of its Legion of Honour. the French culture minister Jack Lang described Davis as "The Picasso of Jazz"; Davis, for his part, returned the accolades with a concert at Jazz a Vienne with the Miles Davis Group. That show was captured and is now set for release as Merci Miles! Live at Vienne on June 25 via Rhino Records.

The collection features liner notes by music historian, journalist, and producer Ashley Kahn, along with art designed by Bruno Tilley. For a limited time, an exclusive fold-out poster and postcard will be available with purchase via Rhino.com and MilesDavis.com.
