An Announcement of Royal Proportions: Prince’s Warner Bros. Catalog is Streaming Again

If you watched the Grammy Awards last night, then you saw Bruno Mars’ loving tribute to the late, great music legend known as Prince, but now it’s time to get back to listening to the man himself…and in case you hadn’t yet noticed, as of yesterday, you can once again listen to his Warner Bros. catalog via your favorite digital streaming services.

"Prince recorded his most influential and popular music during his time with Warner Bros. and we are deeply aware of our responsibility to safeguard and nurture his incredible legacy,” said Cameron Strang, chairman and CEO of Warner Bros., in a statement, while also noting that the timing of the music’s return to the day the Grammy Awards were being held was in no way coincidental. “Warner Bros. is thrilled to be able to bring Prince’s music to his millions of fans around the world via streaming services, fittingly on music's biggest night. We'd like to thank Prince's estate, Universal Music Publishing, the Grammy Awards and all of the streaming services for their great collaboration in making this landmark event possible.”
