Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons were among the greatest hitmakers of the 1960s; on this day in 1962, the group topped the U.S. singles chart with “Sherry”; when “Big Girls Don't Cry” and “Walk Like A Man” followed suit, the Seasons became the first U.S. group to score three consecutive No.1 hits.
