SEALS & CROFTS’ GREATEST HITS
Texas natives Jim Seals and Dash Crofts had been paying their dues in various music groups for more than a decade before teaming as a duo at the end of the 1960s. After signing to Warner Bros., their strong sense of melody and impeccable harmonies took them to the big time when “Summer Breeze reached the Top 10 in 1972. Such successful singles as “Hummingbird,” “We May Never Pass This Way (Again)” and “Diamond Girl” soon followed; all of these can be heard on the pair's 1975 GREATEST HITS. Opening with a new recording of “When I Meet Them,” the collection is a soft-rock fan's dream and was certified double-Platinum. Seals passed away a year ago today, and in his honor we'll let the summer breezes blow again with SEALS & CROFTS’ GREATEST HITS.
