Bad Company
Composed of former members of Free, Mott The Hoople and King Crimson, U.K. supergroup Bad Company was built to climb the charts, and third album RUN WITH THE PACK shows them still running at the front of the pack. While cover artist Kosh was new, the 1976 collection serves up more of the blues-based hard rock that had made the band stars, and it became a Top 10, Platinum-certified hit upon release. Aside from a strong version of The Coasters’ “Young Blood,” the material is all original, with “Honey Child,” “Silver, Blue & Gold” and the title track among the highlights. We’ll wish frontman Paul Rodgers a happy 75th birthday with another spin of RUN WITH THE PACK.
