You know the story. It's a landmark film by Martin Scorsese. It's a classic 1978 live album. It's a grand exit by one of the best groups to ever pick up instruments.

The Band's 1976 farewell concert is one of rock's landmark events. With guest performances from the biggest names in music -- Muddy Waters, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Dr. John, and many more -- The Last Waltz captures that magical night and remains one of the all-time essential live recordings.
