It's Hip Hop Baby
IT'S HIP HOP BABYIt's Hip Hop Baby: Things We Do Everyday$14.95 DVD Created especially for toddlers and preschoolers ages two to six, the IT'S HIP HOP, BABY series of DVDs motivates children with fun, positive messages and fresh, contemporary beats. With essential early education concepts set to innovative, kid-calibrated dance numbers, boys and girls learn and hit important developmental milestones through play, movement and the joy of music. On THINGS WE DO EVERYDAY, the hip and brain-shakin' grooves-based on original songs and traditional classics alike-include “Hip Hop Baby,” “Hip Hop Simon Says Remix,” “Bath Time,” “More Animals,” and “Head Shoulders Knees & Toes.” Like all the titles in the series, the 29-minute DVD features real children-not actors-demonstrating easy-to-understand routines that foster listening skills, body awareness, healthy habits, basic reading concepts and the ability to follow directions. IT'S HIP HOP, BABY is the brainchild of Emmy Award-winning television producer Candi Carter. While working on communicating with her own speech-delayed son, Carter saw that he learned and responded much more quickly when music was involved. “I started singing songs in the kitchen, tapping out rhythms and beats with spoons and spatulas. It really helped him follow instructions and learn words faster,” said Carter, who has always loved hip hop. “I shared this educational tool with other parents and saw how effective it was for all children, which inspired me to create the DVDs.” Parents, toddlers, preschoolers and even babies are motivated by IT'S HIP HOP BABY, an ideal way for little ones to jump into learning through engaging musical performances that sound like today's freshest tracks. Other IT'S HIP HOP BABY DVD titles include: All Your Child's Favorites; Get Healthy, Get Fit; and Rockin' Dance Party. The CD title Fruit is also available.
