Once the epicenter of the West Coast psychedelic music scene, the Fillmore Auditorium gave birth to the “San Francisco sound,” making and breaking some of the world's most popular artists, until shutting its doors in the summer of '71. Originally released in 1972, FILLMORE: THE LAST DAYS, chronicles the closing of this world famous institution and offers a portrait of its legendary promoter, Bill Graham.

Long out-of-print, FILLMORE: THE LAST DAYS makes its DVD debut with Rhino's reissue. Along with showcasing some of the very best performances from those 5 final nights of all-star concerts, the documentary goes behind-the-scenes to uncover the magic and mythology of a captivating moment in musical history and features liner notes from former Rolling Stone Senior Editor Ben Fong-Torres.

Highlights from DVD include Santana's cover of the Miles Davis track “In A Silent Way,” Jerry Garcia re-grouping with the New Riders Of The Purple Sage, Jefferson Airplane's cutting edge “Volunteers/We Can Be So Good Together” combo, Grateful Dead classics and more.
