SEX PISTOLSThere'll Always Be An England$19.99 DVD It's the Sex Pistols like you've never seen them before - the legendary punk band's first-ever authorized live DVD, THERE'LL ALWAYS BE AN ENGLAND, presents their historic 2007 reunion concerts at London's 4,920-capacity venue Brixton Academy. The five frenzied shows (November 8, 9, 10, 12, 14) marked the 30th anniversary of the group's only studio album, the notorious Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols, which Rolling Stone has called “the Sermon on the Mount of English punk.” Footage from the sold-out five-night stand was shot in high definition and recorded in 5.1 Surround Sound, and the concert film re-teams the Pistols with director Julien Temple. The DVD also includes the new 80-minute Temple-directed feature The Knowledge, which documents the Pistols poking around London town and revisiting their favorite haunts from back in the day. Temple first filmed the band in 1976, and previously directed the Sex Pistols documentaries The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle ('80) and The Filth And The Fury ('00). THERE'LL ALWAYS BE AN ENGLAND features the original Sex Pistols line-up of Johnny Rotten, Steve Jones, Paul Cook, and Glen Matlock (who was replaced by Sid Vicious), which has continued to tour since the Brixton shows.
