The Giant Gila Monster individual episode single disc is available only at rhino.com for a limited time.

Leapin' Lizards! It's a reptilian revelation-or revolution, perhaps-as a fifty-foot lizard terrorizes a tiny Texas town in THE GIANT GILA MONSTER. Since it all unfolds on a previously unreleased episode of MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 (Show #402), it's only naturally unnatural that funny strange and funny ha ha fit together as snug as a crocodile glove as cracked hilarity ensues.

Starring along with the title character in this cold-blooded creature-driven feature are Don Sullivan, Fred Graham, Lisa Simone, Shug Fisher and Bob Thompson. In addition to the usual wry and ribald assortment of MST3K viewer favorites, the DVD's special features include “An Important Message From Joel Hodgson” plus an interview with The Giant Gila Monster star Don Sullivan as well as previously unreleased recordings by Sullivan.

The brainchild of its original host, Joel Hodgson, MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 premiered on Comedy Central in 1989. It aired there for seven seasons and then moved to the Sci-Fi Channel for another three. During its epic 198-episode run, the show was twice Emmy-nominated and won Cable Ace and Peabody Awards. The official fan club numbers over 75,000 members.
