BLACK SABBATHHeaven And Hell (Vinyl)$17.98 Vinyl Originally released in 1980, HEAVEN AND HELL was the first Black Sabbath LP to feature Ronnie James Dio as lead vocalist (and the last for drummer and founding member Bill Ward). The iconic heavy metal group's Dio-fronted era proved to be short but influential, and this now-classic album - which rose to #28 in Billboard - is regarded as one of Sabbath's all-time best. It features thunderous cuts including “Neon Knights,” “Die Young” and the epic title track (also featured in the 2008 game “Grand Theft Auto IV”). Remastered to sound heavier than ever, Rhino's reissue of this metal masterpiece features extensive new liner notes and 2008 interviews with band members. The album's title went on to become the name of the reformed Dio-led line-up that came together in 2006 when the singer convened with Sabbath co-founders Tony Iommi (guitar) and Terry “Geezer” Butler (bass) - along with drummer Vinny Appice - to record new tracks for Rhino's compilation Black Sabbath: The Dio Years. The chemistry generated by their reunion led to an acclaimed Heaven And Hell world tour, live album and DVD in 2007. A new studio album - the line-up's first since 1992 - is slated for 2009.
