The Zombies Video Interview

Talking past and present with Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone

The Zombies

The Zombies were one of the most highly regarded groups of the British Invasion, and now -- more than 35 years after the release of their final masterpiece Odyssey & Oracle -- they're back together. The band's principle songwriter (Rod Argent) and lead vocalist (Colin Blunstone) have joined forces again to record As Far As I Can See... and have been performing across America with fellow '60s faves Love. Their tour brought them to Los Angeles recently, and Colin and Rod made a stop in our offices to talk with us about

Your comments reach Rhino, not necessarily the writer, so don't expect a reply from them (or us, see our help section for contact info). I Have seen the Zombies in concert three times in the last three years and all I can say is that they were fantastic

I am waiting for the DVD of the Zombies concert to be released. What is taking so long?

holas a todos los zombis

Just watch The Zombies Concert here at Araneta Colesium, Manila, Philippines and they were really terrific. They brought the whole Colesium down.

These guys are better than ever. Loved "As Far As I Can See..." and "Live At The Bloomsbury Theatre, London." When can we expect a new album?

Zombies rule... thanks to Rhino for putting up the interview

Great video. Saw them on 7/27 at Hippiefest 2007 and had 2nd row seats and VIP passes...did not get to meet them because the venue screwed things up(hope they got the shotglasses I sent backstage!) and they sounded better than they did 40 yrs ago! Bravo!!

I had the pleasure of seeing the Zombies in concert at Meadowbrook Farms, in NH this past summer. I was so smitten by their performance it left me in awe. Colin Blunstone (to me)has a very classy demeanor.
